England Century For Ian Bell

Coventry born Ian Bell hit a century for England in their second innings of the first Ashes match against Australia at Trent Bridge.

Bell resumed on 95 not out and passed the one hundred mark from 237 balls and included thirteen fours.

He hit a single and two more fours before he was caught behind by  Haddin off the bowling of Starc.

England were eventually all out for 379, setting Australia a target of 311.

At the close, the tourists were 174/6 needing 137 to win.
