Lotto Soudal's Andre Greipel has won the final race of the 2016 Challenge Mallorca series.

The fourth and final race - The Trefeo Playa de Palma was one for the sprinters and was a 161.5km race which started and finished in Palma.

Omar Fraile, Llus Mas Bonet and Imanol Estevez slipped clear and were allowed to get 7.07 clear before their lead dipped to 5.18 with 48kms gone.

Estevez took the first sprint and Bonet took the Meta Volante Santa María as the lead came down to four minutes and 2.55 with one hundred kilometres raced.

The break went under the two minutes mark and was only forty two seconds as Fraile was first over the Montaña Coll de sa Creu.

The break was finally neutralised and a fifteen strong group including Allejandro Valverde and Niki Terpstra went away with thirty seconds separating the two groups.

They came back together and Team Sky, working for Michal Kwiatkowski, who had two second places, led the peloton going into the final eight kilometres.

The expected sprint came and Lotto Soudal's Andre Greipel took on Nacer Bouhani and beat him to record his second victory in this four race series with Dylan Page third and Ireland's Sam Bennett in fourth, followed by Torres, Vangenechten, Reguigui, Navardauskas,  Manzin and Sarreau.
