Warwickshire FInish Off Worcestershire

Warwickshire County Cricket Club beat Worcestershire by an innings and seventeen runs on the second day of their County Championship game at New Road.

Resuming on 101-4, Warwicks had Ian Bell complete his century and make 111 before being trapped lbw by Shantry after Tim Ambrose had gone for 31.

Ricky Clarke made 67 and Keith Barker an unbeaten fifty before Warwicks were all out for 340.

That was a lead of 97 and it proved to be enough as Chris Wright, who took two wickets, Keith Barker and Boyd Rankin took three wickets each and Jeetan Patal two wickets to bowl Worcestershire all out for eighty and give Warwicks a win by an innings and seventeen runs.
