At Trent College, Warwicks batted first and had Thomson make 53 not out in a total of 148-5.
Notts batted but Warwickshire ripped in to them with Gordon and Poyseden taking three wickets each to skittle Notts out for 98 and give Warwicks a win by 44 runs.
