Warwicks Seconds Lose 2020 Game

Warwickshire Second Eleven were beaten by eleven runs against Worcestershire.

In a 2020 game at Kidderminster, Worcestershire batted first and had d'Oliveira make an unbeaten century as the Pears knocked up a total of 225-4 with Kervezee making 39 and Whiteley twenty four.

Webb and Lewis opened the batting for Warwicks and they put on 48 before Webb who had made thirteen was caught by Dodd,

Will Porterfield joined Tom Lewis at the crease and the pair put on 102 before Porterfield was gone after making 53.

Lewis went on to complete his century from 57 balls in 57 minutes, hitting seven fours and six sixes. However, Warwicks were behind on runs required and went into the last two overs, needing twenty nine runs.

Lewis went for 101, caught by d'Oliveira in the penultimate over, and Warwicks needed fourteen runs from five balls.

Warwicks lost Thomason for thirteen and Coleman without scoring as they finished on 214-5 and went down to an eleven run defeat
