Warwicks Seconds Beaten By Derbyshire

Warwickshire Second Eleven lost to Derbyshire by thirty six runs in a fifty overs game.

At Knowle & Dorridge CC, Derbyshire batted first and made 276-7 with Knight making eighty nine.

Gordon, Adair and Josh Poyseden all took two wickets each with one for Oliver Hannon-Dalby.

Warwicks lost Lewis and Jonathan Webb cheaply but Ateeq Javid and Freddie Coleman came together

They put on 101 before Javid was out for 47 being caught by Hosein. Thomason followed him back into the pavillion after only making two.

Warwicks reached the halfway total, needing 140 off 17.3 overs (105 balls) but despiite Coleman going on to make 105, the Warwicks middle to lower order struggled for runs with Milnes making 22 and Banton seventeen out of five players.

When Oliver Hannon-Dalby was run out for two, Warwicks were all out for 240 and went down to a 36 run defeat.
