Warwicks Seconds Beat Notts In Fifty Overs Game

Warwickshire Second Eleven beat Nottinghamshire by 101 runs at Coventry & North Warwicks Club.

At Binley Road, Warwicks who fielded Jonathan Trott, batted first.

They lost Jon Webb with thirty eight runs on the board but Trott and Umeed put on 199 for the second wicket which came when Trott who had made 114 from 96 balls was caught by Moores.

Umeed went for 94 and was soon followed by Thomason, Banton and Milnes and then Adair who became Carter's fourth victim.

Skipper Freddie Coleman went for 35 and Phagura for five as Warwicks completed their fifty overs on 350-9.

When Notts batted, Milnes had Dai out after only three balls and although Root made 85, Phagura took 4-36 from nine overs and Tom Milnes 3-25 as Notts were all out for 205 to give Warwicks a win.
