Warwickshire batted for sixty four overs on the second day of their friendly at Edgbaston against Derbshire.

Warwicks only had seven runs on the board when Laurie Evans was trapped lbw by Palladino without scoring.

Sam Hain added five runs before Javid and Coleman came together and added sixty runs before Ateeq Javid retired after making 37.

Coleman went on to make 46 before he was bowled by Hughes so Webb and Keith Barker came to the crease.

Webb made 49 before he was caught and Barker 55 not out as Warwicks completed their sixty four overs on 198-4.

Derbyshire came into bat and they had made forty one when Slater was caught by Will Porterfield off the bowling of Keith Barker for thirty four.

Two balls later and Godleman who had made five, was caught by Chopra off the bowling off Chris Wright.

Hughes made thirteen before giving a catch behind to McKay to give Jones a wicket and Milnes had Durston trapped lbw for ten as Derbyshire completed their thirty two overs with a total of 79-4.
