Warwickshire Second Eleven batted on the opening day of their match against Nottinghamshire at Ladybay.
Warwicks lost Leach in the opening over without scoring and Lewis for ten, followed by Mellor for thirteen and Phillips for a duck, whilst at the other end, Lambert started to make runs.
Milnes went for twelve and McKay eleven as Warwicks ended the day on 144-6 with Lambert 77 not out.
