Alberto Contador has been given a retrospective two year ban.

The Saxo Bank rider (pictured above) has been stripped of his 2010 Tour De France win and his 2011 Giro D'Italia victory after the Court Of Arbitration for Sport found him guilty of a positive test for clenbuterol on July 21st 2010.

Andy Schleck now becomes the winner of the 2010 Tour De France, following the announcement of the news this morning.

Contador's ban ends in August and he will be able to ride the Vuelta Espana.
