Storm Lose To Birmingham

Coventry Storm were beaten 47-42 by Birmingham at Brandon tonight.

The Storm using rider replacement for Luke Chang, started off with a 3-3, followed by a 4-2 and a 5-1 heat win with Dan Greenwood taking the victory.

With Darryl Richings and Conor Dwyer falling in a re-run heat four Birmingham took a 5-1 before two 3-3's were followed by Richings winning in a 4-2.

Rob Shuttleworth won in another 4-2 and after a 3-3, Dwyer was forced to retire from the meeting.

Birmingham had an award 5-0 win in heat ten when both Shuttleworth and Greenwood fell and then took a point lead with a 4-2 win.

Three more 3-3's meant Birmingham had a lead of a single point going into the final heat but The Brummies rode to a 5-1 which gave Adam Ellis a five point maximum and sent the Storm to a five point defeat.
