Storm Hammered In Knock Out Cup

Coventry Storm Speedway Team were hammered 63-28 at Cradley in the first leg of the Knock Out Cup Semi-Final.

Using rider replacement again for Stefan Nielsen, the Storm lost the opening heat 5-1 and after a 3-3, went on to lose the next three heats 4-2,4-2 and 5-1.

James Sarjeant had the tactical ride in heat six but that only resulted in a 4-4.

A 4-2 and a 3-2 to Cradley in a heat which saw Danny Phillips taken away in an ambulance, saw the Storm fifteen points down.

Sarjeant won in a 3-3 in heat ten but Cradley came back with a 5-1 and after a 3-3, four more 5-1's to more or less knock the Storm out of the Knock Out Cup.
