Coventry born Cal Crutchlow finished sixth in the Motul TT Assen MotoGP.
The Honda rider put in a good ride and finished 24,373 seconds behind race winner Valentino Rossi with Marc Marquez second and Jorge Lorenzo in third.
Crutchlow tweeted: "Some good fun today and a finish. Not a good result with some problems so I look forward to next race."
