The exhibition, some two years in the planning, features a superb collection of bikes and memorabillia from both local cycling legends such as Mick Ives to Chris Boardman and Sean Yates plus pictures of modern day heroes who have done so much for the sport in Mark Cavendish, Bradley Wiggins and Nicole Cooke whose father and grandfather are both Coventry born.

It was opened by Tommy Godwin, who twice won Olympic Bronze for Great Britain and rode in the Olympics, the last time it was staged in London.

Admission to the exhibition which is on until October 14th is free.
