No Broken Bones For Cavendish

Mark Cavendish has separated his shoulder according to report.
 
The former British champion was involved in a high speed crash two hundred metres from the finish line of a stage that he was in a good position to win.
 
 
Cavendish was taken to Harrogate Hospital and diagnosed with a separated shoulder. There is ligament damage but nothing is broken and a decision will be made as to whether the Omega Pharma Quick Step rider will take part in Stage Two from York to Sheffield.
