Alexander Kristoff of Katusha has won the GP Gippinegen race.

The 1.HC category GP du canton d'Argovie race started and finished in Gippinegen in Switzerland and was over 181kms.

Six riders in López, Pfingsten, Mortensen, Dall'Antonia, Van Hecke and  Backaert took a seven minute lead on the peloton who brought the gap back down to 5.33 after sixty kilometres.

On lap seven of fifteen twelve kilometre laps, they were 5.10 clear but six laps later a reduced peloton, the escapers were caught and twelve riders including Greg Van Avermaet, Gerdemann, Clarke, Moser, Trofimov, and Marcato took over the front running duties.

They too were caught so Linus Gerdemann, fresh from his Tour De Luxembourg victory, attacked only for Dillier to come flying past him.
