Bob Jungels of Trek Factory Racing has won the 45th Etoile de Bessèges in France after snatching a final stage victory.
The final stage was a twelve kilometre time trial starting and finishing in Alès and Edward Theuns of Topsport Vlanderen led going into this time trial.
Mateusz Taciak set the best early time of 18.24 which was beaten by Riccardo Zoidl recording a time of 18:01 with seventy riders still to go down the ramp.
Fabio Felline then set a time of 18.00.81 before Luxembourg rider Bob Jungels of Trek Factort Racing finished in a superb time of 17.40.70, that was never going to be beaten.
At 16.19 local time, race leader Edward Theuns was the last man down the ramp, needings somewhere around the 18.10 mark but he only posted a time of 18.30 and Jungels took the overall victory.
