Harris & King Help GB To Run Off

Coventry Bees riders Chris Harris and Danny King rode for Great Britain in the Speedway World Cup Qualifier at Kings Lynn.

Great Britain, racing against Australia, USA and Lativa, fielded Harris, King, Tai Woffinden and Robert Lambert and had Harris take two wins from his first two heats.with a second place in heat twelve behind Jason Doyle of Australia, a win in heat sixteen and a second place in heat nineteen.

Danny King started with three seconds and a win in heat fifteen but in heat seventeen, could only finish third.

Australia won the meeting to book their place in the Final with 47 points.

Great Britain. who scored 43 points have to go to the run off in Denmark on Thursday with America who scored 22 points whilst Latvia who scored nine points are out.

GB and American will face Poland and Russia on Thursday in a meeting which is being shown live on the Quest channel.
