Work is due to start later today on a new velodrome in Derby.
The 1,700 venue with its 250m indoor track, which is part of a £28m facility that includes 1.5kms of closed off roads, suitable for criterium racing, is being built by Bowmer and Kirkland.
The work is expected to take two years to complete.
