Thomas Dekker of the Netherlands has failed to set the new World Hour Record.
Dekker attempted the record in Aquascalientes, Mexico today and was given a distance of 52.250 kilometres.
Initially, there was confusion to how far Dekker had actually ridden but the UCI confirmed that his distance did not beat Rohan Dennis's record of 52.491 kilometres. which the Australia set earlier this month.
