Coventry Rugby Club were beaten 20-17 at Esher.
Coventry had coach Scott Morgan sent off for fighting in a game which saw Esher take the lead with a Cross penalty followed by an Arthur Chisholm try that Cross converted.
Cliff Hodgson kicked a penalty but in the second half, he missed one and Cross scored from another penalty.
Hodgson did convert a penalty try before Morgan and Neil Sweeney were sent off for fighting.
Liam Nicholls ran in a try which cross converted and Hodgson kicked a second penalty try but they went down to a three points defeat.
