Coventry Storm Second In National League Fours

Coventry Storm speedway team were runners up in the National League Fours competition at Brandon.

The rain held off and the meeting went ahead with the Storm fielding Dan Greenwood, Rob Shuttleworth, Luke Crang and Darryl Richings in the heats against Eastbourne, Kings Lynn and Birmingham.

The Storm scored fourteen points with Dan Greenwood taking six from two wins to progress to the final along with Birmingham who scored eighteen points.

They were joined Rye House and Kent and the Storm scored fifteen points the same as Birmingham to produce a run off.

Dan Greenwood took on Birmingham's Adam Ellis in the run off but although Greenwood gated, Ellis was able to get round him on lap one and take the victory to give Birmingham the title.
