Coventry Bears Rugby League won 42-14 at South Wales Scorpions this afternoon.

At Mountain Ash, Cov went behind in the third minute when Yannick Parker went over for an unconverted try.

Five minutes later and Parker scored again with a try that Paul Emanuelli this time converted.

10-0 down, Cov started to come back and Billy Sheen went over for a try that Coleman kicked over for the extra two points and in the sixteen minute, Richie Hughes levelled with a try and Coleman converted to see Cov in front.

That lead was extended in the 28th minute by Jamahl Hunte who ran in a try which Coleman again converted and six minutes later, Sheen ran in a second try and then set up Tom Hall for a try to see Cov 26-10 up at half-time.

Dan Parker passed inside for prop Kenny Kelliher to score on the left and put Cov on thirty points.

The Scorpions came back with a try but so did Cov when Jack Francis forced his way over and Dan Parker converted as he did after Morgan Evans had run in a try to give Cov a 42-10 win in front of a crowd of 305.
