Coventry Bears Hammered

Coventry Bears Rugby League team were hammered 78-8 at home by Swinton Lions.

At the Butts Park Arena, Swinton were straight on the attack and went ahead after six minutes with a try.

Further tries followed and the Bears were 30-0 down after 28 minutes.

That became 52-0 nine minutes into the second half and after two more trys for the visitors, Cov got on the board when Jamahl Hunte went over for an unconverted try.

Billy Sheen scored a second try for The Bears in the 66th minute but Swinton continued to add to their lead and won 78-8.
