Coventry Rugby Club kept up their bid for promotion with a 33-15 win against Macclesfield at the Butt's Park Arena.
Cov had Rundle open the scoring in the second minute with a try which was converted and although, Macclesfield had Smith run in a try, Cov were straight back on the scoresheet when Hodgson scored a try which he converted.
Rundle scored a second try in the 22nd minute which was converted by Hodgson to put Cov 21-5 up at half-time.
Cov had Rundle complete his hat-trick with a third try in the 50th minute that Hodgson converted and they added a penalty try to their tally which was converted.
Macclesfield scored two unconverted tries but the crowd of 1558 had seen Cov win another game and keep up their push for the national league title.
