In the 50th minute, Cov were awarded a penalty try which Hodgson converted to go 21-7 but Davis came back with a 56th minute try that was converted by Kirby and in the 73rd minute, Gibbs went over to score and when Kirby kicked for the extra points, the match ended in a draw.
