World road racing champion Mark Cavendish will compete in the second round of the Revolution series in Manchester on Saturday November 19th.
The rider who has moved to Team Sky for next season after four highly successful years at HTC Highroad will compete against the likes of Geraint Thomas, Alex Dowsett, Peter Kennaugh and Ed Clancy in a number of track events including the Madison, a discipline he was twice world champion of.
"Mark raced Revolution regularly in the early years, so it is fantastic to welcome him back as the World Road Race Champion," said James Pope of Revolution organisers Face Partnership in a press statement.
"After such a fantastic year on the road, the Revolution crowd are going to provide a hero's welcome to Cav so it will be a special evening."
