Bridger Will Not Ride For The Bees

Coventry Bees have said that Lewis Bridger will not be riding for them this season.

Bridger had agreed to join the Bees last month, reversing a previous decision to take time out of the sport, as a replacement for the injured Cameron Woodward.

But the club have now turned their attentions elsewhere to fill the vacant team place, with the season starting on March 15.

Promoter Mick Horton said: “I’m not prepared to get dragged into a war of words over this, so all I can say is that as a club we are very disappointed with Lewis Bridger, and we will not be commenting any further.

“We must now focus on our efforts to bring in another rider, and hopefully we will have some news on that in the near future.”
