Blythe Wins Binche-Tournai-Binche

British rider Adam Blythe won the Binche-Tournai-Binche to give himself a belated birthday present and second win of the season.

The BMC rider who turned 23 on Monday won the 200km race which is a Memorial to Frank Vandenbroucke in a time of 4.16.50 after attacking just after the flam rouge.

Second was Adrien Petit (Cofidis) with John Degenkolb (Argos-Shimano) third.

Endura Racing's Jonathan McEvoy, the only other Brit in the race was 87th.
