Blaze Lose To Belfast Again

After losing 6-3 at Belfast Giants on Saturday night, it was back to the Sky Dome for the seond game but the Coventry Blaze went down to a 5-2 defeat.

Mike Radja opened the scoring for Belfast with a powerplay goal on 7.32 and that was how it was until the Blaze levelled through Brett Robinson, assisted by Jordan Pietrus and James Jorgensen on 35.27.

In the third period, Belfast took command with Derrick Walser scoring unassisted on 45.31 with a powerplay goal, Adam Keefe adding a third on 48.38 and Chris Higgins with another unassisted goal on 55.59.

Jordan Pietrus did score for the Blaze, assisted by Brett Robinson & Michael Quesnele on 56.11 but Walser netted a fifth for Belfast on the powerplay with nineteen seconds of the game remaining.
