Coventry Blaze have appealed against the three game ban for Cale Tanaka.
The ban was issued by the Department of Player Safety and saw Tanaka suspended for three matches for a High Sticking penalty in the game against Braehead Clan.
Tanaka will miss tomorrow night's game away to Belfast Giants but under the rules of an appeal, is free to play after that until the hearing is held.
