Bees Well Beaten At Leicester

Coventry Bees were well beaten 54-38 at Leicester Lions this evening.

After the Bees 50-42 win, it was all back to Jordan Road for a second Elite League meeting.

There was no Ben Barker for the Bees who had Kyle Howarth back after he had ridden at Scunthorpe this afternoon.

Leicester took a 4-2 in the opening heat and after two 3-3's, Leicester increased their lead with a 5-1 with a victory for their guest Craig Cook.

Andersen took a tactical ride for the Bees  in heat six and finished second in a 5-3 heat who had Newman win for a 4-2 in heat seven.

Nicolai Klindt helped to give Leicester a 5-1 in the next heat and after two 3-3's, the Bees were 36-26 down at the interval.

Andersen fell as Leicester took another 5-1 which was followed by two more 3-3's.

Klindt rode for a 4-2 to take Leicester over the fifty points mark and a 3-3 in the final heat meant a 54-38 defeat for the Bees who are at Belle Vue tomorrow night.
