Coventry Bees rider James Sarjeant is through to the Premier League Grand Final after a stunning performance on Sunday.

Sarjeant racked up an incredible score of 16+2 from seven rides for Glasgow in their semi-final win over Somerset - a vital contribution as the Tigers won by just two points on aggregate.

They now face Scottish rivals Edinburgh over two legs this weekend in the Grand Final.

Meanwhile there were several other members of the Coventry team in action over the weekend, with Chris Harris top-scoring for the Elite League Select in the last-ever meeting at Swindon's Abbey Stadium.

Harris scored 11 from four rides, dropping his only point to Sam Masters, whilst Danny King scored 3+1, and Kyle Howarth scored 3 for the Robins.

The previous night, King had finished third in a Pairs event at Rye House, scoring 12 points as he joined forces with former Storm rider Luke Priest. Harris scored 11 and was a point behind overall, paired with George Hunter.

Harris and Howarth are also in action on Monday in Wolverhampton's Recycled Aggregate Services Olympique.
