Coventry Bees Speedway Team went down to a 50-40 defeat against Poole at Brandon.

The Bees, who have qualified for the play-offs, had Max Fricke guesting again and took a 5-1 win in the opening heat which was twice re-run with Kyle Howarth injured in the second running and replaced by Jason Garrity, who won the second heat in a 3-3.

There was another 3-3 before Poole took a 5-1 win in heat four as Howarth was taken to hospital.

Chris Harris won in a 4-2 which was cancelled out by a 4-2 to Poole. Heat seven produced a 3-3 but in heat eight, Poole took the lead with a 5-1.

A 3-3 was then followed by Poole taking two 4-2's and a 5-1 win and a 4-2 in heat thirteen to lead by fourteen points.

A 3-3 and a 5-1 win in the last heat were no consolation to the Coventry support who watched their team go down to a 50-40 defeat.
