Bees Beaten By Swindon

Coventry Bees were beaten 36-55 by Swindon Robins at Brandon tonight.

The Bees had Grzegorz Walasek and Danny Ayres guesting and rider replacement for Stuart Robson.and had Chris Harris finish second in a 4-2 loss in the first heat.

Swindon then took 4-2 and 5-1 wins before a 3-3 and another 5-1 win in heat six.

That meant the Bees were 24-12 down and Chris Harris took a tactical ride but it was Joonas Kylmakorpi, who won in a 7-1.

Two 3-3's were followed by a 5-1 to Swindon who had a 5-0 win in heat eleven after Chris Harris had to ditch his bike and James Sarjeant had an engine failure.

Sarjeant and Ayes won in a 5-1 but two 5-1's to Swindon and a 3-3 in the final heat meant a heavy defeat for the Bees.
