Our friends at cyclingnews.com are reporting that the 2016 or 2017 Tour De France could start in Berlin.
Berlin last staged a Grand Depart in 1987 and with the Berlin Wall still up, only the roads in West Berlin were used for a a prologue, a circuit race and a two stage team time trial.
Negotiations are said to be at an early stage although A.S.O. officials are being reported as having come to Berlin to have a look around.
