WELCOME TO THE LASH LOUNGE

It's pink and it's something special for the ladies, welcome to the Lash Lounge, the latest addition to Coventry Markets' growing list of specialist stalls.

The Lash Lounge is run by 20 year-old Coventry girl Loréal, her story is one of bold grass roots enterprise. Having worked at other salons for some time, she has seized upon that gap in the market trend for luxurious eyelashes. Within two whirlwind weeks of making the decision to go it alone, she was up-and-running on stall 13 Coventry Market, with her first day exceeding her business expectations. "I was open for one day and was so busy that I had to turn people away" she revealed."I had to tell them to come back next week. One lady came over from Leamington as she had already heard about me".

So just what is Loréal's secret? "Individual eyelash extensions are very popular at the moment" she said. "Everyone is going mad for the fake ones and retro individual colours. I've always been one for having eyelash extensions, and why by strips when you can have these that last for 2/3 weeks. You see I use Everlash extensions and glue, this is the best make and they say you can shower, sauna, and go swimming and sleep in them, they are very hard wearing. Basically I do short, medium and long, black or brown lashes. and they can clip them with nail scissors if they are too long". Eyelash extensions are very fashionable at the moment with the likes of Cheryl Cole and Katie Price, I believe we can give you that kind of look at a fraction of the price, cat walk eyes, at High Street prices".

The Lash Lounge is open now in Coventry Market.

Loréal charges £7.00 - Tuesday - Thursday and £12.50 Friday - Saturday.
