On Saturday before the home game with North Ferriby United, the Football Conference Trust will be making a cheque presentation to mark their support for the work of Nuneaton Town's community programme.

Brian Lee, Chairman of the Football Conference Trust, will hand over a grant cheque for £18,000 to Ian Roper who has been leading the children’s coaching activities during the half-term holidays this week.

The club has received this funding to help deliver a programme of coaching for children and young people. This includes work in schools, holiday courses and after school clubs.

The Football Conference Trust is a charity that offers grant aid to National League clubs to support and develop their community projects. Funding is made possible by the generous support of the Premier League and the Professional Footballers Association. Each has contributed to a fund of £5.2m.

Over 55 National League clubs are currently running projects after receiving funding from the Trust.
