Nuneaton Griff beat Nuneaton Town 3-2 tonight at the James Parnall Stadium.

Griff, who play this match as a home game, thanks to the generosity of their cross town opponents, took a fifth minute lead when Michael Swan scored from ten yards.

Former Coventry City youngster Courtney Baker-Richardson levelled for Nuneaton Town in the 36th minute with a header and five minutes into the second half, Ben Hutchinson scored a second for the Conference side with a shot which crashed in off the bar.

Griff came back and levelled through Ryan Slinn before Griff, in the 65th minute had Aston substituted, following a very late and high challenge on Zanni.

A foul on Baker-Richardson gave Nuneaton Town a 68th minute penalty but Zanni stepped up and put the ball to Watson's left. The Griff keeper guessed correctly and saved to keep the scores at 2-2.

However, five minutes from time, Griff took a win when Corey Falconbridge scored for a 3-2 victory.
