Coventry based Charles Dexter Ward and the Imagineers, named after a character in an HP Lovecraft novel, are through to the Semi-Final of the Midlands Battle Of The Bands Final at the Robin2 Club in Bilston.
The Semi-Final takes place on Monday November 21st, competing against two other bands for a place in the final in December.

The winners of the semi finals are based on votes from the audience so they are trying to drum up as much support as possible to travel over.
This Friday night at 8pm, they are appearing on the BBC Coventry & Warwickshire radio show "Introducing" with Martin Winch, which features on the local music scene.
