Coventry Copsewood beat Alvis Sporting Club in a Midland Football League Division One tonight.

Darren Dickson's side, which included former Coventry City goalkeeper Michael Quirke playing in midfield, were ahead in the 28th minute through a Farrell strike.

Copsewood, whose building work on new pitch side changing rooms and facilities are coming on well, had all the play and in the 62nd minute, Rawlings volleyed in a second from an Andy Wilson-King throw and four minutes later and Copsewood scored a third through an own goal.

Gormley got through to beat the keeper for a fourth in the 78th minute and seven minutes from time, Alvis were caught napping when substitute Dominic Allas found the net to give Copsewood a 5-0 victory.
