The Coventry Charity Football Cup has been nominated in the Community Awards section of the Coventry Telegraph Sports Awards.
The Charity Cup which presents cheques totalling £15,000 to close to twenty Coventry & Warwickshire based charities with monies raises from its football competition, Sportsman’s Dinner, Autumn Ball, donations and support from the Premier Group, has been in existence since in 1907.
The Charity faces competition on the night from Wasps and Sky Blues In The Community in the category sponsored by Inspire Magazine.
The award ceremony takes place a week today at the IXL Events Centre at the Dallas Burston Polo Club.
