Bedworth United were beaten 2-1 by Hitchin Town in a Southern League Premier Division fixture.
In a game at The Oval, Bedworth went a goal down after thirteen minutes when Matt Lench netted with a twenty yarder.
Three minutes into the second half and Lench had his second goal when the keeper fumbled and he pounced to put Hichin 2-0 up.
David Dubidat pulled a goal back in the 52nd minute but The Greenbacks could not find a second goal and went down to a 2-1 defeat.
