A Dream For Neil

Last updated : 30 January 2009 By Covsupport News Service
Many of us have thought that we could pick a better team than the manager of our favourite football team, well tomorrow, Neil Adair gets that chance.

Neil Adair, who, when he was not at Highfield Road and latterly, the Ricoh Arena, watching Coventry City or turning out for Covsupport Northern Ireland FC, is a massive fan of Northern Irish League side Glenavon and tomorrow he gets the chance to manage them.

Neil had been supporting the Lurgan Blues since he was a young boy and last season was given the chance to manage Glenavon's reserve team.

This season, he progressed to working with Head Coach Stevie McBride and Director of Football Alan Fraser at first team matches.

On Tuesday night after a 2-1 defeat at Coleraine, the Board at Glenavon decided to relieve McBride and Fraser of their duties and have put Neil in charge for the game against League Champions Linfield at Mourneview Park.

All at Covsupport News Service and Covsupport Northern Ireland FC wish him all the best.
