Coventry Sphinx Youth Team started their Midland Floodlit Youth League Premier Division North campaign with a victory.
Wayne Whitehouse and Nigel Starkey's side won 5-2 tonight at AFC Wulfrunians.
Next Thursday, Sphinx are at home to Hinckley United.
