Covebtry Sphinx had a overwhelming turnout for their Youth and Under 16's trials which was switched to the Allan Higgs Centre due to a Gaelic Tournament at Sphinx Drive.
Youth Team Manager Stuart Dutton and newly installed Under 16's Manager Robbie Campbell over saw the two hour session, which was also watch by 1st team Manager Luke Hopkins and his team.
After the initial warm up and stretching routine, there were games of 9 side on half pitch set up for an hour then there were 11-a-side games with rolling substitutions. for the reminder of the session.
All the lads gave their all with some catching the eye more than others, some struggled in the close quarters game but excelled in the 11-a-side game and vice-versa.
At the end of the session all lads were thanked for their time and names and contact numbers collected.
Its now just a small matter of narrowing down the 2 squads which will be no mean feat.
