Coventry Sphinx FC have brought in Dave Rogers.
Dave is currnetly the under 12's manager and has agreed to come on board initially for pre season to put on some sessions to help with fitness and allow Luke and Herbs to work in certain areas with players while the rest are still being coached and put through their paces getting fit and sharp.
Speaking to the Sphinx website, Manager Luke Hopkins said: "Pre Season is key to the season ahead and having an extra body, extra pair of eyes and some knowledge are key to helping us out. hopefully he gets the bug but coupled with his under 12's it would see him out 5 days/nights a week!!
"Plus he still has a little passion for the Sky Blues and I respect that the lads time with his boys so I'll take him when I can.
"Dave has varied knowledge of local football with playing himself, coaching and managing adult teams and now with the juniors. Last season was Dave's first at the Sphinx after moving across from Pinley with his team and has taken the club into his heart and has a real passion for it, hes happy to help and from what I've seen a good coach too, which will help us.".
