Coventry Sphinx have appointed Graham Walker as Goalkeeping Coach.

Graham is already at Sphinx and is no stranger to the management team, as he's currently running the Under 9's.

He played at a high level as a youth before injury but he understands the qualities it takes to be a top goalkeeper. Being with Coventry City throughout his teens, before a year at Exeter and then returning closer to home with Nuneaton Borough before finishing a short career with injury.

Luke Hopkins said to the Sphinx website: "Having Graham come in to work with the keepers is a big plus for me, it's an area that was well and truly covered by Dutts and with him going it was gap that had to be filled.

"In Graham we have hopefully filled that gap. He's got some pedigree at a young age so that will help, but I always find keepers a different breed, special kind of people, certainly unlike outfield lads, so they can now all train together and hopefully we can keep Carlo performing at his best as he's a huge player for us."
