Nibali Takes Stage Five In Oman

Liquigas's Vincenzo Nibali won the fifth stage of the Tour Of Oman today.

Stage five ended with a climb up the Green Mountain at the end of a 158km stage which started at the Royal Opera House in Muscat

Nibali went at the foot of the climb and just held off Peter Velits to win in a time of 4hr 43.47. However, it was not enough to the leaders race jersey and Veltis leads by a second going into the final stage.
