Iyseden Christie started for Gary Mills side and put them ahead in the seventh minute whilst Jerome Murdock who joined Tamworth from Shepshed Dynamo after playing for Bedworth United was a 57th minute subsitute.
Ben Austin equalised for the visitors to see the match finish in a 1-1 draw.
